Turmeric Brown Rice with Edamame

Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

1 cup brown rice

1 cup water

½ cup shelled edamame

1 clove garlic

2 tbsp sesame oil

2 tsp turmeric

1 tsp black pepper

½ tsp salt

Fresh cilantro to taste

Preparation:

Peel and finely chop garlic;

Wash, dry and mince cilantro;

Stir-fry edamame for 5 minutes, together with sesame oil, garlic, salt and pepper;

Using an immersion blender, mix cooked edamame with a splash of water to obtain a sauce;
